Sergeant Frog (Keroro Gunso) fan fiction parody: a gironatsu pairing (Giroro X Natsumi) referencing elements of both the manga and anime.
This work is original fanfiction and cannot be considered canon. It is not authorized and/or endorsed by any of the following entities: Tokyopop, Mine Yoshizaki, Sunrise, any friends, affiliates, ex-spouses, pets, or residents of Keron. Any resemblance to people living or dead is purely coincidental.
One day, long ago, an origami gryphon, which despite the implication is not a paper tiger, and a chumducky, which despite the implication is not a duck, met in the purely random happenstance that the perversity of the universe often dictates. Now the ducky was once a writer, though he hadn't set quill to paper in many years, and the gryphon was also a writer, though she had never set quill to paper at all. She complained to him that there were no English fanfics for "Keroro Gunsuo" and he suggested that she write one. The rest, as fates would describe, is history. Together they alternately co-wrote and edited their way through a love story set in the Sergeant Frog universe.
Not content to let their collaboration lie fallow, the intrepid avians embarked on the creation of a second part to the story. In the interim, real life intruded: the duck became engaged to a beautiful woman and the gryphon moved for the next stage of her own career. Their writing became a struggle with time.
And then one day an uber-KG fan wandered into our e-mail boxes. She wanted to help. We welcomed the well-written Lupus Draconis: the Wolf-Dragon. The Gryphon concluded her studies and went to her new posting. The Ducky is still engaged, but coding more than writing. The Dragon writes between her studies and tests.
And now that they've completed this novella, the authors remain friends. Origamigryphon is still in the USAF and constructs fursuits as a hobby. Lupus Draconis has left school and between pregnancy and wedding plans is hard at work on two novels of her own. The Chumducky moved to Australia where he was denied the chance to marry his now dead beloved, and returned to the States to write part three of this story - alone.
